Contemporary artist, Tanner Lawley, paints from a place of love, abundance and compassion for others. Growing up in a small town southeast of Dallas, Tanner was able to work for his father’s painting business, which had a contract with the Dallas Museum of Arts. After graduating with a BBA from Freed-Hardeman University in May of 1999, Tanner started working security for several celebrity musicians and athletes. It was a time that presented many emotional and spiritual challenges, so in response, Tanner began creating his art.

In 2006, Tanner Lawley started managing a group of fine art galleries representing an internationally acclaimed group of artists such as Peter Max, Alexandra Nechita, Pierre Matisse and Alexandre Renoir.

Since August of 2008, Tanner has created thousands of original artworks that can be found in several galleries across Dallas, New York and Miami. As a performance painter, he is best known for painting live, and was even awarded the 2014 Art Expo’s Best New Exhibitor award. In November of 2016, Tanner performed at the prestigious Cube Art Fair in Brussels, Belgium and was represented by Vogelsang Galleries also located in Brussels.

Tanner’s newest fine art gallery, The Lawley Art Group, is located in the heart of the Design District in Dallas, TX. Tanner paints and lives in Dallas, with his wife D’Anne and daughters Haven Alyse and Margot Eleanor.
